Bridgeville, Penn. – July 28, 2026 – Brightline Lighting, a premier manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting systems, introduced the MOD1 today. The new fixture serves broadcast, videoconferencing, government, education, and corporate applications. It is the first product in the company’s new MOD Series of professional LED lighting solutions.
Brightline designed the MOD1 for today’s changing production environments. It combines the soft, flattering illumination of Brightline’s popular Flex-T rotating, lay-in ceiling fixture with the directional versatility of its SeriesONE LED studio fixtures. As a result, broadcasters and organizations can create a professional studio look in compact spaces. The fixture also helps in rooms where conventional lighting systems are not practical.
The MOD1 is the first product in Brightline’s new MOD family. The MOD2 and MOD3 are scheduled to follow.

Creating More Flexible Studio Lighting
“As production spaces continue to evolve, so must the lighting,” said Kathy Katz, Co-Founder of Brightline Lighting. “Broadcasters are building smaller studios. Corporations are producing more in-house video. Podcast production is booming. Many projects are also moving into multipurpose rooms with suspended ceilings. We developed the MOD1 specifically for these environments. It bridges the gap between architectural lighting and traditional studio lighting. Designers can now achieve a soft, broadcast-quality look in spaces that once created major design challenges.”
Unlike traditional lay-in ceiling fixtures, the MOD1 suspends below the ceiling on extension hardware. This allows teams to lower the fixture into the ideal lighting position. It also rotates to illuminate talent with precision. Therefore, designers gain more flexibility in rooms with high ceilings, limited dimensions, or layouts where studio grids are impractical.
The MOD1 draws on the strengths of both the Brightline Flex-T and SeriesONE product families. Together, those strengths create a new approach to lighting design. The fixture blends architectural integration with professional studio performance.
Bridging Lighting Design and Spaces
“The MOD Series is designed to bridge environments as well as product lines,” Katz added. “We’re seeing organizations create studios where every square foot matters. The MOD1 delivers the soft, natural appearance people expect from a professional studio. At the same time, it provides the flexibility needed for modern production environments.”
The MOD1 uses high-performance mid-power LEDs that deliver greater than 97 CRI. This gives productions exceptional on-camera color accuracy. The fixture is available in multiple fixed color temperatures. It also comes in a Variable White model from 3000K to 5600K. As a result, teams can support dynamic color matching across many production environments.
The compact fixture weighs just 8 pounds (3.63 kg). It features adjustable optics with ±90-degree directional beam control. Teams can also choose spot or flood beam options. In addition, the fixture supports industry-standard control protocols, including 0-10V, DALI, DMX/RDM, and Low Voltage DMX. This makes it easy to add the MOD1 to new or existing lighting systems.
The MOD1 is built for long-term reliability. It features a durable 6063-T5 aluminum heat sink and universal 120-277V operation. It also includes high-efficiency electronic drivers. Power and control connections are integrated directly into the fixture housing.
The MOD1 is available in black or white finishes. It can be ordered with C-Clamp or Surface Mount configurations and is MET certified.
